Table 5-36. MCASP2 Signal Descriptions

This is similar to the AM62A.

You could use the AM62A sysconfig to see the possible pin configuration.

the screenshot above is from table 5-34. Exactly this brings me to my question about the mismatch between table 5-34...5-36 and the screenshot from the second page:

McASP:

- Up to 6/10/16 Serial Data Pins across 3x McASP with Independent TX and RX Clocks

The question is how many McASP serial in/output the AM62D will be offer/support. 6/10/16 or 4/6/16?

The signals pin out are listed in the Signal description section.

I suspect the features section might need to be update.

Our device expert works out of Dallas and is out of office.

I will verify and update you sometime next week.

All three datasheets have already been updated to be consistent, where they say: Up to 4/6/16 Serial Data Pins across 3x McASP

Thanks for your reply. Please can you share the updated DS? Neither the AM62D DS on "securesouces" nor the AM62A DS on Web have updated McASP description yet on the high-level overview page 2 .
