PROCESSOR-SDK-J784S4: MCAN dynamic configuration example

Hi,

i need to change MCAN configuration dynamically, during runtime (bit timing params adjustments) and was wondering if there's any example how to do that? Is it ok to just call init APIs once again or do i need to power down CAN transceiver and repeat the configuration procedure when it's up and running again?

Hello,

Is this Linux SDK or RTOS SDK ? In linux you can change from console whereas from RTOS you cannot do it without reconfiguration.

You can look into /packages/ti/csl/example/mcan/mcanEvmLoopback/mcan_evm_loopback_app_main_k3.c example if you are using PDK.

or you can refer mcusw/mcal_drv/mcal/examples/Can examples if you are using MCAL.
