Hi,

I have DM8168 device.

I want debug uboot and linux kernel.

Can guild me which debugger best this device?.

I have Code Viser tool with me.

Bharat,

I always debugged u-boot and linux kernel by inserting printk/printf statements in relevant functions. Dumping registsers of the releavant IP will also help in certain cases.

CCSv5 has Debugging Applications for kernel, u-boot and applications level debug. The SDK SW Developer's Guide has details on how to use it.
