TMS320DM814x OS

Hi,

Do ALL DaVinci Processors support Linux?

For some reason, there 's no mention of OS supported for TMS320DM814x serie on the main page while It does for the TMS320DM816x family ?

A second question: What is the main difference between the TMS320DM816x and the TMS320DM814x serie? Look SO close.

Most of our Davinci support Linux.

The TMS320DM814x is the closet to TMS320DM816x in all devices but at lower cost. For completed differences, please refer to their data sheet.

The TMS320CDM814x (DM814x) family is optimized for low power consumption.
The TMS320CDM816x (DM816x) family is optimized for performance and has 3x video accelerators.
