SK-AM62A-LP: How to generate the input image for gamma plugin in DCC

Part Number: SK-AM62A-LP

Tool/software:

Hi experts,

The input of gamma plugin in DCC is "a RAW image in 12-bit RGB 3-planar format ". But how to generate such an image from the bayer raw get from sensor? Is this raw supposed to be the result of CFAI?

Regards,

Adam

  • Hi Adam,

The input of gamma plugin in DCC is "a RAW image in 12-bit RGB 3-planar format "

That is just for visualizing the effect of gamma curve in the plugin.
You may leave it empty and use the built-in default/sample RGB image for comparing different gamma curves.

Is this raw supposed to be the result of CFAI?

You may use any 12-bit RGB image for visualization.

If you input one, it may have to be of the "raw option" image size (if I recall correctly).

how to generate such an image from the bayer raw get from sensor?

If you would like to test real images, it is much easier to work with PC emulation mode using the gamma curve.
