AM5716: How to configure critical temperature?

Part Number: AM5716

Tool/software:

We are using AM5718AABCXQ1 to do temperature test.

But after reath the 105 degree, the log shows it reaches the critical limit. However we use the Q grade which should support -40 - 125 degree.

How to configure this limit in SW?

The TSHUT threshold defaults to 123C, and can be programmed via the CTRL_CORE_BANDGAP_TSHUT_<DOMAIN> registers shown here:

Can you tell me where the TI am5716 temperature threshold modification is operated in the code? Or can you tell me what specific commands are used to modify the operation steps.

I still have to double check with our power engineers but if you are using Linux, which I am assuming based on previous threads, this is done via the DTS.

Check at what temperature threshholds your DTS has -

arch/arm/boot/dts/am57xx-industrial-grade.dtsi

};

Hopefully this gets you over the hump.
