At present, we can load and run keywriter_img by DFU, and successfully convert HSFS device to HSSE device.

However, our production line is not suitable for using DF for flash, so we would like to know if TDA4 supports using CCS to run keywriter_img to flash efuse.

Or whether TI has a suggested flash method suitable for the production line.

We try to run keywriter_img with CCS and the MCU stuck in Sciclient_loadFirmware.

We can now successfully run key_writer_img using CCS, but it is too complex for the production line.

So, are there other ways or tools to write EFUSE? or how does TI's factory do it?

Hi Hongyao,

The KeyWriter binary is like the initial bootloader image that you would run on a HS-FS target to convert it to a HS-SE device.

You can use any bootmedia flashing method like you would with a bootloader to program it to flash or boot-media and use it once to run the KeyWriter to convert the device.
