AM3352: v10 Scarthgap SDK release inquiry

Hello,

We would like to migrate our existing product that uses AM3352 to the latest SDK with LTS version of yocto. We can see that the latest official release is based on Kirkstone, which is LTS until 2026. However, we would like to use Scarthgap instead since this will have a longer support (until 2028).

From the forum post link below, we can see that the v10 SDK (Scarthgap) was planned to release Q4 2024. May we know if there are any updates on the release date? Is there any concrete release date we can expect v10 SDK (Scarthgap) to be released?

Hi Zabrina,

I see in the e2e thread you linked that the communication back in April was that,

"Current planning is for AM335x SDK v10.x with a release targeted for ~Oct 2024. We are now on a yearly SDK release update schedule for all of our 32 bit Sitara devices which includes AM335x and AM437x. Note that SDK v10.x will be based on Linux Kernel 6.6 (LTS) and U-Boot 2024.04. Please note that all this is subject to change and is not meant to be a 100% firm commitment."

However, the plan has been changed, The next AM335x Processor SDK which will be released next week is SDK9.3 which is based on Kirkstone. The next release based on Scarthgap doesn't have a consolidated plan for the public yet.

I just realized the AM335x Processor SDK v09.03.05.02 has been released on ti.com last week.
