Hi,

I would ask TI experts if its possible enable the possibiliti to use a DP adaptor on infotainment board HDMI output.

Currently I am using the infotainment board to be possible use 2 screens on same TDA.

The system is the next with dual output enabled:

  • TDA Display Port ----------------------------------------------> DP wire ----------------------->  Display 1
  • TDA Infotainment Board HDMi Port ---------------> HDMI to DP wire -------------------> DIsplay 2

In case to use HDMI on TDA or Infotainment works correctly, but I have Displays only with DP ports,

so I need to enable the possibility of use the HDMI to DP converter on Infotainment board.

Could you clarify if this can be possible? and where we can modify the HDMI to be possible use the DP adapter?

    I am using the HDMI to DP active already tested on other systems.

    When I connect the adaptor the image is modified and the resolution and the image is modified.

    Do you know if its possible modify sme parameter to be possible use the adaptor and keep the configuration configured on display sub system?
