C5535 eZdsp USB driver install issue windows xp/7

USB driver does not install for Audio Demo on Windows XP nor 7. On Control Panel appears as Other devices-> TMSC5505.

green LED DS2 is on, DS1 is off. Coloured LEDs are all on: green, red, yellow and blue.

Kit arrived with microSD plugged.

usbaudio.sys is present on Windows/system32/drivers

I have uninstalled, unplugged J1 with cable, re-plugged J1, reinstall, reboot. Same result.

Hardware ID: USB\VID_0451&PID_9010&REV_0000

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

Please help me to install the driver.

  • Issue solved. There was no binary file in the microSD card. I installed the Audio Framework  from the DemoAudio folder in the DVD and copy the bootimg.bin from the following folder: C:\c55\C55_Connected_Audio_Framework_EZDSP\c55-connected-audio-framework_binaries\CSL_USB_IsoFullSpeedExample_ezdsp_Out_bootimg

to the root directory of the microSD card.

As soon as I plugged USB  cable to port J1 a message showed up on the LCD. On Windows 7 it came up as a USB device but with error. I uninstalled, unplugged, re-plugged and it auto-install properly as USB device and I could see it as a sound device tha I could select and run the demo.
