Subject: Inquiry Regarding SK-AM68 Starter Kit Features

Hello,

I have a few questions regarding the SK-AM68 before making a purchase.

1. The SK-AM68 is listed as having an 8 TOPS NPU in its features, but I could not find this information in the User Guide. I would like to confirm if there is a separate Starter Kit that includes the AM68a SoC.

2. Does the board support 12-bit RGB-IR input? Additionally, I noticed that the board provides 480 MPixel/s ISP. Can the ISP be tuned to match the specifications of the camera we have selected? If so, could you also provide the tuning cost per camera channel?

3. Lastly, I would appreciate it if you could share details regarding the NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) cost and software license fees.

Thank you, and I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

  • Hi jaehwan,...

I would like to confirm if there is a separate Starter Kit that includes the AM68a SoC.

There seems only one common SK-AM68 board according to the page above.

If you are looking for 12-bit RGB-IR 4x4 raw image sensor support by ISP (VPAC), AM68/AM69 ISP (VPAC3) are not able to do that.

    Only, AM62A and AM67A (with VPAC3L) can support 4x4 raw images (e.g., https://www.ti.com/tool/J722SXH01EVM).

    3. Lastly, I would appreciate it if you could share details regarding the NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) cost and software license fees.

I am not aware of any of these are required for TI TDA4/AM6xA SDK.
