TDA4VEN-Q1: What are the differences between GTC, RTC, and Local time?

Hi TI's experts,

In the TRM manual, I can see descriptions of GTC and RTC. In the app_timer_rtos.c file, I found a function called appLogGetLocalTimeInUsec. I would like to know the difference between GTC, RTC, and local time.

Also, may I ask which scenarios are more suitable for using GTC, RTC, and local time?

What is local time? I dont see anything related to local time..

In vision apps, we use just GTC for all profiling purposes.

There could be DMTimer, used on all R5Fs. This is because each RTOS requires a timer to get the timer ticks..

The specific implementation of the Local time function is to call the following function ClockP_getTimeUsec.

Also, in what scenarios will RTC time be used？

Hi xie jc

This function uses local dmtimer assigned to the RTOS OS.

I dont think there is any RTC module in TDA4.
