CCSTUDIO: "C2000Ware v5.3.0.00 not currently installed" even though it is

Hi team - We are trying to build on CCS. We're running into the following error codes:

[15]Product C2000WARE v5.3.0.00 is not currently installed and no compatible version is available. Please install this product or a compatible version.
[16]Build stopped..

The only issue is we do have C2000Ware v5.3.0.00 installed in the default "TI" folder. Do we have to point CCS to the location of the C2000Ware? How should we do that?

Hi Jacob,

What version of CCS are you using? There is a known issue with CCS 20 where C2000Ware projects are being imported without the dependency not being set properly in the project: https://sir.ext.ti.com/jira/browse/EXT_EP-12146

The more I think of it, I don't think it is the issue I mentioned above but a simple issue of CCS having not discovered the product. Please let me know which CCS version is being used.

HI Ki - I believe your second comment was correct. We changed how we were trying to open our CCS project and then were able to identify the C2000Ware. We can consider this resolved. Thank you for your fast responses.
