how to use dsk_audio4 daughter board

Hi All,

I have bought a new DSK_AUDIO4 daughter board and configured to my DSK_6713 DSP board. I am working on a project on sound localization and have to collect real time data with 4 microphones. I have connected the 4 microhones to the 4 mic inputs of DSK_AUDIO4 board.

Can any one please help me the procedure to collect the 4 mics data and is there any way to represent the 4 mics data in the graphs?? and also how can this be done in the real time?? Appreciate the help.

Regards,

Harsha

  • Harsha,

    Two suggestions:

    1. Go to the DSK_AUDIO4 vendor and see if they provide any example programs for you. This would be the easiest way to get some code working quickly.

    2. Go to the TI Wiki Pages and search for "C6713 workshop" (no quotes). This archived IW6000 workshop has excellent training material in the Student Guide and there are lab files provided to go along with the Student Guide. Working through this class material on your own will help you learn the tools and the part and how to use it for collecting and processing audio data. This will be useful even if you find examples from Suggestion #1.

  • Hi Harsha,

Did you figure it out how to use audio4 daughter card to take 4 inputs. I am working on an adaptive signal processing problem and need to use 6713 with audio4 card.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,
