Hi,
I have a custom AM5278 board and with TI-sdk ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.03.00.07 which is similar to the EVM board, here we have connected the vin3a-0 to vin3a-23 to a TFP401 decoder.
the issue we face is as below

we had checked the TFP401 output which goes to the board and can confirm that TFP401 is giving out RGB format properly , but when launched in our system through either GST command or the application that was made we face the above issue.

Also this issue occurs only for a solid color of pure black(0,0,0) on white or white on black where ever black is there the pixel on that horizontal line shift to the right causing this issue , in case we reduce the color of the black by (20,20,20) this issue is not observed and everything looks normal.

we also launched the test pattern as below shown but it did not show any problem with the same.

Could you help us solve the issue as we think it might be an issue with the Processor for rendering the received RGB format.

Hi,

The pipeline we ran is just

Gst-launch-1.0 v4l2src device=/dev/video30 ! Video/x-raw format=RGB ,width=1024,height=720 ! Videorate ! Videoconvert ! Waylandsink

With this also the same issue is shown.

Roshan,

Please share a block diagram of your system and camera details. Given that the test patterns are showing up without any issue makes me doubtful that this is a processor rendering issue. It is more likely this is an issue in the g-streamer pipeline that you shared. I will have to confer with our g-streamer expert.

Hi,

PFA the block diagram of our system,

we use LAPTOP or output of another AM572x HDMI out to check the input to the processor.
the output at the end of the buffer was checked , which had not shown any issue , which is why we doubted the processor.
here DVI is split into RGB format after the TFP401 chip.
Please let us know a solution at the earliest
