Tool/software:

I am not having luck finding information on this or TMS370C16 XDS emulator ( (literature number SPNU065).  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thank you.

    Hello Kevin,

    1) Just to confirm, are you looking for information about TMS320C40? Or are you only looking for information about TMS370C16, and you just needed a part number to enter into the e2e forum?

    2) Where did you find the paragraph that you copied?

    3) What are you trying to do here?

    Just to set expectations here, this is an extremely old part. I can find some other TMS370 processors listed internally, but TMS370C16 isn't even showing up on my initial internal searches. If you are referencing one of the paper books that were published in the 1990s, it is possible that these publications were never digitized. 

    I am going to reassign your thread to another team member to see if they have any ideas, but they will be limited to doing a couple of searches for documentation. Both of the part numbers you listed are much too old for us to offer software or hardware design support.
