AM5728: Shift in SDI video

Part Number: AM5728

Tool/software:

Hi,
we are facing an issue as below when we use the gs2971 SDI chip to capture SDI input as shown below

where the left side is litlle bit shifted to the right and some part of the right side gets cropped out.
We found a solution where if we short the DE signal of the IC is shorted with the Hsync of the processor the problem is solved.
My doubt is why do we need to do this or is there any other solution to it?? as we want to give the DE signal of IC to the DE signal of the processor and same with the HSYNC signal also
for this the port we are using is VIN1a and Vin5a.
the same happens even if we use another board with another port.
the processor we are using is AM57xxBABCXA and the SDK version we are using is am57xx_05.03.00.07
