hiveregistry not working after new/updated nk bin is loaded

I am using hive registry settings for SD card.

The system works fine if same nk.bin is used. i.e the registries created by application are intact after reseting.

Problem come when i change to new nk.bin, the hive registry created by application are gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am using Wince 5.0!!...

What processor and platform are you using? We have not released a WinCE5.0 BSP.

Hi,

The Hived-based registry settings are erased when a new image (determined by ROM Signature) is loaded. This is the default behaviour of WInCE when handling Hive-based registry, it can not be turned off.

In the following article, this behaviour is explained and one way of preserving registry settings is provided.
