TDA4VM: Can not use SPI dev in linux

SDK: 0806

I now want to use spi devices in linux（main_spi1 main_spi2）. I referred to this document: e2e.ti.com/.../faq-ccs-tda4vm-how-to-use-spi-spi_dev-on-tda4-j721e

but I found in the actual test that clk does not have a waveform.

The following is my configuration:

This is in linux:

But the clk pin has no waveform, and spi has mounted sub-devices (both two spis have sub-devices, and the clk pin has no waveform).

I have checked all the pins and there are no conflicts.

I also tested on the tda4_evm board, and there is no waveform on the clk pin.

The clk pin I tested using an oscilloscope。

How can I solve this problem?

Hi Eason,

This pin is generated by sysconfig, no by manual.

I test two days, but spi1_clk and spi2_cklk still no waveform,
I turned off all conflicting pins of linux uboot mcu1_0 mcu2_0 mcu3_0 c66 c7x, but it still did not take effect when testing on the linux side.
Could you give an example on spi that I can test on tda4_evm board linux side? Or could you please help me see if there are any problems with the configuration of the spi device tree?

No, I am talking about a different setting that is not pinmuxing, mentioned in the forum thread that I linked in my previous post. There is a separate property in device tree which I will quote below:

ti,pindir-d0-out-d1-in flag

ti,pindir-d0-out-d1-in:

Select the D0 pin as output and D1 as input. The default is D0
as input and D1 as output.

Could you define this property?

What I am very confused about is why my CS pin is always low. It means that my device tree is configured incorrectly. If my device tree is correct, my CS pin should be high.
