[FAQ] AM654x, AM652x : Data sheet Documentation (about timing) of the power sequencing

Hi TI experts,

On page 142 of the datasheet "AM654x, AM652x Sitara Processors Silicon Revision 2.1 datasheet (Rev. C)", Figure 6-4. Power-Up Sequencing using On Chip Power-on-reset (POR) has labels such as "Note 6" and "Note 10" (screenshot below)

However, I am unable to determine what exactly these are referencing. Please advise

Looks like the notes for the waveforms have not been included. I will have to check with the documentation team.

I have the previous version waveform and the notes if that helps.

Are there any times that must be adhered to when power sequencing? Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything about times in the data sheet/reference manual.

We do not have timing specified between supply ramps.

The recommendation is to start the ramp of the current supply rail only after the previous supply ramps and stabilizes.

(+) AM6548: AM654x & AM652x PintoPin compatibility - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E support forums

Are AM654x and AM652x pin to pin compatibles? Ie assuming that the AM654x IP blocks which are not implemented on AM652x are not used on AM654x device, can we directly replace the AM654x by the AM652x processor with no HW modification on the AM654x board (Schematics, PCB layout… )?

They are pin to pin compatible and can be swapped out on the same board design without making h/w mods.
