Running 55X Connected Audio Framework from CCS4

I have downloaded the Connected Audio framework, built the project in CCS4 used the hexutility to create a bootimg.bin and run from an SD card on the eZdsp535.

When I launch the App from within CCS4 the USB does not connect properly.

I am using the Gel file Spectrum Digital support website (ezdsp5535.gel).

are there any basic step I am missing to run this framework with the emulator?

Hi,

Have you connected two USB cables to PC one for emulator and the other for application (Mini-USB)?

Both USB cables are connected. does it matter when the mini-USB is connected?

The code executes, the USB device seems to register. Then my whole PC is very sluggish and no audio comes out.

I get the following error message in CCS4. I am using Gel file c5505evm_pg20.gel.

C55xx: Error: (Error -1143 @ 0x400) Device memory bus has an error and may be hung. Verify that the memory address is in valid memory. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Release 5.0.429.0) .

Hi, I am getting the same error. I don't know whether we have to set switches correctly so that CCS4 can load the program.

When I remove the MicroSD card, it works. If I just let the sd card there and plug in the usb cables it seems the program is already loaded and it cannot be overwritten after.
