Hello,

Im trying to connect to custom board with TMS320VC5501 through XDS100V2 emulator on it I get following error.

In target configuration selected device name is TMS320C5501, so I was wondering if this is what error is referring to unmatched device IDs.

Also in target configuration menu there are two separate devices for 5505 i.e. TMS320VC5505 and TMS320C5505, but there is only one for 5501 i.e. TMS320C5505.

Any one have any suggestions?

Sorry that I do not have a simple answer for you. We may have to move this thread to the CCS forum for their expertise in this matter.

Maybe you can try a couple of things first...

After selecting appropriate EMU0 and EMU1 for JTAG nTRST boot mode,my next error is as follows..

Any clue anyone?

Please Ignore last post..

Some intresting fact discovered, whole setup was carried on bed with electric blanket underneeth which errror was giving error 1146.

: )

But with blanket off original error 1063 still exists..

Hi,

After searching on the forums, I recommend to check your boards reset signal.

Is this a custom board or one of the TI EVMs?

Have you ever been able to connect to this board before?

Is your XDS100v2 emulator "configured"? Is it an FTDI Chip? FT_Prog can program the EEPROM for the FTDI XDS100
