Tool/software:

We are planning to use TMS320DM8147 into out upcoming DashCam project, which needs max 2K videos from two cameras. It shall interface with sensors, sd card, NAND, and external WiFi modules. So what are the h/w modules and toolchain we need in order to begin with the development? And what is the learning curve for it. Are all SDKs and toolchain proprietary?

Is there any design guidelines for h/w and s/w?

Thanks for your query. We are glad you are planning to use TMS320DM8147 for your project. However, this is a pretty old device, and the last TI SDK was released in 2013. There is no plan for any new SDK on this device.

For what you are looking for, we support new devices, so I suggest you contact your local TI support for recommendations.
