Are there McASP libraries to be used with SYS/BIOS 6?

I did find the DSP/BIOS 6.xx based PSP for DA830 platform which contains libraries for McASP (http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_registered_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/psp/bios_psp/index.html).

Is DSP/BIOS 6.xx same as SYS/BIOS 6? If yes,

Do the same libraries work for DM8148 platform as well?

Divya,

If you are interested in DM8148 - McASP driver for SYS/BIOS, then it will be available early next year.

BIOS 6 is called as SYS/BIOS since it has the support for both DSP and ARM.

BIOS 5 is called as DSP/BIOS.

Hi Divya,

The DSP/BIOS releases after version 5 are called SYS/BIOS.

SYS/BIOS support DM814x device, I don't think it work straight away because the package is built for DA830 SoC

BIOSPSP is available only for C6748 class of devices. Please contact your local sales representative for DM8148 drivers. They might be able to assist you with right solution.
