Hello, To address our latency requirements, we would like to know the propagation delay for a particular GPIO, (even if its in the order of few ns) from the moment the TDA4 writes to registers (To assert the GPIO) to the time when the GPIO is asserted.

    Can you clarify what you mean by "writes to registers"? Do you mean from the time some core is trying to write to the GPIO register, or do you mean from the time the value is latched inside the GPIO register? 

    Additionally, can you provide more insight into the latency requirement (what is it you are trying to achieve)?

    We are trying to measure/estimate the propagation delay from the TDA4 SoC to the Serializer (located on the camera). We have a GPIO connection between SoC and the Deserialzer. The latency between the time the application writes Logic High to be driven on one of the GPIO, to the time that the GPIO gets asserted is our area of interest

    TDA4 --> Deserailizer -> GMSL Link --> Serializer --> Imager

    If you are asking about the full latency from the time the application software sends a write request, that will likely vary depending on the initiator and software / system traffic, and thus not likely something we would be able to provide.
