Is this with Linux or RTOS? If it is RTOS, I can notify a colleague of mine that is more savvy in that codebase. I require the SPI driver to be developed using RTOS, as in the Linux default SPI driver is pre-configured.

Also, can you please answers the below questions:

1) Will it be possible to configure the custom SPI driver on TDA4EVM board?

2) In general, what parameters need to be set or acceptance criteria required for the SPI driver development?

We have  SPI driver based on RTOS in the path pdk_jacinto_10_01_00_25/packages/ti/drv/spi but your requirement is you want to develop custom SPI driver on TDA4 board but there wont be any validation from TI side if you face any issues.

Custom SPI driver will neither be validated by TI nor accepted. My suggestion would be analyzing the current driver source code and documentation we have in SDK and follow similar approach.
