Tool/software:
Dear team,
My customer bought TMDSSK3358 from ti.com. (I am confirming the order# and when they bought) and found some difference vs. what ti.com shows.
Please check below and give us comments how we can understand them.
1. The board has AM3359 chip instead of AM3358. Its marking shows AM3359BZCZA80. I double check the BOM of the board but it should have AM3358.
2. There are some gap between schematics(v1.3) and the board. (The board is matched with Assembly Drawing (v1.2).
I think it is due to the schematics version. Would you please share me the schematics(v1.2)?
For example of the difference between board and schem, J8 on the board (center of the photo) is named J9 while J8 is RJ-45 connector in the schematics(v1.3).
Best regards,
Yuto Kitamura

Hello Yuto Kitamura
Thank you for the additional inputs.
Let me check with the EVM expert.

Sreenivasa
Hi Sreenivasa,
Please update this thread once you get reply from the expert. The customer mentioned, it seems J8 on the board is the I2C interface and can start evaluation. But we like to make sure if there are any differences. So please check that.
Yuto
Hello Yuto Kitamura,
The schematic revision 1.2 is attached.
I don't have history on why AM3359BZCZA80 was substituted on this board build.
Regards,
Melissa
