Dear Team,

For one of our project we are debug an PLL lock issue in Serializer and Deserializer. To debug the issue we need to monitor DE(Data Enable) pin from Serialiazer, to control particular pin need to drive from SoC.

Please suggest which control module register have provision to Enable/Disable DE pin of serializer.

Details:

SoC : TDA1MEDCCYEQ7Q1

Serializer: MAX9259

This is coming from DSS. So please driver some display output from DSS to toggle this signal.

Could you please elaborate how to handle in DSS.

And also In TDA1 TRM i found that DE control register which has Enable/Disable provision. I can give a try from this register.

But i'm not able to find the register address. Please share the register details i will try to disable and verify.

Hi Chethan,

Please refer to DSS chapter in the TRM. It can be used to toggle this pin.

Hi Chethan,

ok, this device has hdvpss and hdvpss driver does support programming Venc. I think Valeo has used this device, so there should be SW available for programming hdvpss. So can you please check internally?
