USB detection and mounting

Hi,

USB devices are not detected as well as mounted on DM814X.

Please let me know how to enable its detection and mounting.

Hi Preethi,

Can you please check if you have connected a jumper head between the J22/J23 Jumpers?

Hi Vijay,

I dint find any jumper by name J22/J23 .

But my problem got solved by using USB hub.

Hi Vijay, When and why shall those two jumpers be closed ?

If the ID inputs of the 814x are left unconnected, and the DM814x is only used an a non-OTG master-only, is there any SW sequence for an external peripheral to be successfully detected and powered ? (once again, in that question, the ID inputs are not connected due to existing design).

Gentlemen,

I'm interested too by this topic : we need to have the 8148 PHY been configured by SW as a HOST, to successfully detect peripherals (internal DP/DN sense resistors not active by default), because the ID pin is NC on our design, and we have no jumper to connect it to ground...
