What is ECC_CRC_MODE in CPSW Switch Control Register?
How does it work?
It is possible to disable ECC_CRC_MODE?

it is used to select where ECC errors are induced by ECC aggregator.

You can refer to ECC test from SDL.

CPSW has multiple RAMs for ALE, Ports.

Ports will store the data packets ingress and egress.

As discussed, ECC_CRC_MODE is only to run ECC test and by default ECC Aggregator is disabled so it bit will have no significance.
What will happen if the ECC aggregator is enabled and this ECC_CRC_MODE bit is set or cleared and I don't want to run ECC test?

How can I have ECC Aggregator enabled but don't want to run ECC tests?

Please refer to ECC functional test from SDL in SDK "PSDK_RTOS/sdl/test/ecc/ecc_sdl_funcTest".

yes, this to inject error via ECC aggregator during test.

No significance even if you are not running ECC test to simulate error injection via ECC aggregator.
It will be useful when your want to injecting error via ECC aggregator.

ECC aggregator to inject errors and get the ECC status and route to ESM to generate an Event.

If you need more information about ECC and please refer to TRM.

If you want test/run ECC please create a new thread.

"ECC_CRC_MODE" has no significance when we are not injecting errors.
