AUDIO-AM62D-EVM: McASP Serializer inputs are interleaved

Part Number: AUDIO-AM62D-EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Tool/software:

Hi ,

  We are using AM62D EVM.

  1. We have two serial data lines from Audio Precision to is input EVM.
  1. Each data line is configured for TDM 4
  1. McASP0 is configured for 2 serializers with the TDM4 configuration. I have attached the sysconfig file.
  1. We send sine tone on the second serial line (CH5-CH8), and nothing on the first line (Ch1-Ch4)
  1. We expected to the following channel order to be received - CH1-Ch4  (zeroes) followed by Ch5-Ch8( sine tone)
  1.  But we see channel order -> CH1,CH5,CH2,CH6,CH3,CH7,CH4,CH8
  1. The two serializer channels (TDM4) are interleaved. But we would like to receive the channel in the order in step 5.
  1. McASP configuration, automatically chooses 1-serializer multi-slot interleave configuration, and it is greyed out. We cannot change it. Is this the correct configuration?
  1. What setting in McASP do we need to change to get the order that we are expecting?

Please let us know.

Thanks

Deepa
