Download of older code generation tools.

Hello,

I am trying to build a CCSv3 legacy project in my CCSv4 environment.

Having massaged the include paths I have it building, but it fails to run properly. Hence, I have been slowly updating (downdating?) my CCSv4 environment to use the same packages that the old build team used (DSP/BIOS, NDK, CSL) and have found all of these on the TI web site. But, I am stuck on the last one - the code generation tools.

I am looking for "ti_cgt_c6000_6.1.19_setup_win32.exe" - where can I download it from?

Thanks - Paul - about to go home after a long difficult day.

  • So after a good nights rest I came back and eventually stumbled upon the following page after digging through the Wiki:

    https://www-a.ti.com/downloads/sds_support/TICodegenerationTools/download.htm

Why can't the TI web search tools (plural because there are always two search boxes up in the top corner) ever find what I want?

I usually find it more productive to go to Google and search for stuff there than search using the TI web site search.

  • I am now unsure if the versions above are the correct ones to use because they are the free versions. I have a fully licensed installation.

Is there a way to ask the CCS v4 update manager to download older tools rather than newer ones?
