Hi Gang Hua ,

We are referring TRM. We encountered below section about VISS configuration. Want to know ,

1.What is line mode and frame mode of viss?

2. What is horizontal and vertical blanking?

3. What is 'HzLatencyLine? what is the unit of the numbers mentioned in the paragraph, e.g. 50(RFE) , etc.

Hi Sriharsha,

As it says, frame is the recommended mode and is used in the driver for the best performance. Line mode is for debug purpose. I would recommend to use directly VISS driver in PDK.

That is the H/W behavior of VISS-LSE.

that is similar to the horizontal and vertical blanking of image sensor or video output which is used for loading or outputting 2D data.

Horizontal latency lines

Horizontal ones are in clocks or pixels.

Vertical ones are in rows.
