Hi,
I want to enable RS-485 on AM625 with enable pin being a GPIO. For this, I have to update serial driver for set/clear enable pin. Where is this driver source located?
Previously, while working on iMX6, we had to update imx.c driver file located in "drivers/tty/serial/". But I can not find any such file for AM625/TI in ti-linux-kernel.

Hi Vijay,

The UART driver for AM625 already supports RS-485 DE control (RTS pin based or GPIO pin based). You don't need to modify its UART driver.

Hi,

we are using "6.1.83-ti-g055ead3d5359" kernel version and "6.1.83-ti-g055ead3d5359" variscite sdk.

We are working with below BSP sources:

Hi Vijay,

You need to set the GPIO pinmux and configure it on the UART devicetree node. Please refer to the following thread.
