Hi Team,

I am planning to use RGMII Port 2 from the industrial domain for the third MAC usage.

I noticed that the pins for this industrial RGMII Port 2 are shared/multiplexed with the CPSW3G0 RGMII2 port, as indicated in the datasheet pin multiplexing table.

If I utilize these shared/multiplexed RGMII pins, would it be feasible to switch the domain to CPSW or vice versa?

Your quick response will help us make decisions more efficiently.

When you say "industrial domain" do you mean PRU-ICSSG Ethernet?

Using Linux, we are able to switch between CPSW and PRU-ICSSG Ethernet on the third port of the TI AM64x EVM (TMDS64EVM) by using a device tree overlay and enabling it in u-boot. If you are designing a custom board, you could reference the AM64x EVM schematic files to see how this is done in hardware.
