Debug Message is printing very late

Hi,

I am using AM3517 processor in our custom board. When I tried to boot the board from MMC the processor will take lot of time to display the debug message (Almost 2min).

The same problem appers to print any message on the serial console. (Even to print device ID 40x it is taking almost 2min). Please help me to solve this problem.

    Hi Srikanth,

    Is it about boot time, when you use MMC boot or else can you please give log and some more explanation.

    Otherwise if it's already fixed let me know, what is the culprit.

    Hello GSR,

    Its about the Booting time only. When we turn on the board to see device ID on the serial console its taking almost 2 mins every time. But once the device Id  is Printed on serial console everything works fine in the normal expected Speed. We dont have any log files because processor is not pumping anything on serial Console for first two mins after power up.

    With what you are seeing, WinCE has not kicked in yet. I saw that you have the same question open on the processor forum and that is the best place to get an answer to why it is taking so long to see the device id. 

    Do all of your boards have the same behavior?
