DM8148 Pinmuxing datasheet conflict

In the most recent datasheet (sept. 2011) we’ve got for the 8148 there appears to be a conflict in the documentation in regards to pin G27.  In the EMAC section 3.2.6 on page 58,  it shows signal EMAC[0]_RGTXD[1] functionality assigned to pin G27. Later in the pin muxing section 4.3 on page 165 it shows for PINCTL247 pin G27 as signal EMAC[1]_RGTXD[1] (when in the RGMII mode).

Nowhere else in the pin muxing section did I find signal EMAC[0]_RGTXD[1], so I’m assuming the discrepancy in signals assigned to pin G27 is an error in section 4.3 and that section 3.2.6 is correct.

Could you please confirm the assumption?  Thanks for your attention.

  • Andy,

I see it the same way and think it is a typo on p165. G27 is defined as EMAC[0]_RGTXD[1] per datasheet (Sep.2011) p58/p61/p88/p155 and per Pin Mux Tool 2.2.0.0.
When you look down on p165 you find H25 defined as EMAC[1]_RGTXD[1], which is also the case (cross check) in the datasheet p59/p67/p87/p126.

    Thanks for your input.
