Missing V4L2 capture driver in VPSS

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TVP7002

Greetings,

I'm looking at this instance of the VPSS linux drivers user guide:

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/DM816X_AM389X_VPSS_Video_Driver_User_Guide_PSP_04.00.01.14#Build_Linux_VPSS.2C_Fbdev.2C_V4L2_Display_and_V4L2_Capture_Drivers

It refers to a V4L2 capture driver, to be found at drivers/media/video/ti81xxvin.ko

I've checked with both ez sdk versions 5.02.02.60 and 5.03.00.09 (the latest as far as I can tell) and they contain only the V4L2 display (vout) driver, ti81xxvo.ko, while the capture driver is missing.

Is the capture driver for the platform available somewhere? What are my options to use the video input port to capture some kind of yuv format coming from a CMOS sensor?

TIA,

Dimitri
