Missing V4L2 capture driver in VPSS

V4L2 capture has been just released by PSP release and it should be avaialbe to download from below link very soon.

but Current EZSDK does not support V4l2 capture, it will be in the future EZSDK release.

It supports YUV422 or RGB format input.

Hi,

PSP04.01.00.06_patch2 and PSP04.00.01.13_patch2 is released with V4L2 capture driver support. You can look at page suggested by Yihe. This is not PSP04.00.01.14 release but its PSP04.00.01.13_patch release with addition of V4L2 capture driver on top of PSP04.01.00.13 and PSP04.01.00.06 releases. You can find capture driver user guide at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/DM81xx_AM38xx_Video_Capture_Driver_User_Guide which is common for both DM816x and DM814x.

The capture driver appears to require the TVP7002 decoder. The user guide mentions "it is possible to support other decoders on VIP 0 instance by adding the sub-device driver for required decoder and passing the board specific data through board file", but I can find no pointer to the application note referred to here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/DM81xx_AM38xx_Video_Capture_Driver_User_Guide#Software_overview

What is the easiest way to bypass the TVP7002 decoder and use the digital output of a CMOS sensor directly interfaced to the video input port?
