SDK 5.02 vs 5.03: AAC Encoder OpenMax app question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LINUXEZSDK-DAVINCI

Hello,

While catching up with the latest posts on this forum I've noticed that SDK 5.03 is now out.

We're currently on SDK 5.02 but are very interested in the AAC Encoder content mentioned

in:  http://www.ti.com/tool/linuxezsdk-davinci

QUESTION: Does SDK 5.03 have an OpenMax demo application that uses the AAC ENCODER in it?

We're trying to determine if there's something similar to the capture_encode IL app for H264 but only

for the AUDIO/AAC-ENC instead.

Just trying to determine how soon I should get someone on the team to take it out for a spin.

Does anyone know if such a thing is in SDK 5.03?

Thanks.

    Hello Wai Kwok,

    Thanks for the information.

I was dreading having to park our 5.02 efforts to go to 5.03 and that it might

turn out it didn't have this after all.

Now we can plan accordingly knowing our time will be well invested.

    Thanks again.
