AM62A7-Q1: gpiochip1 error

The parameters for the libgpiod commands have changed (not TI code). Use the help menu (gpioinfo --help) on how to use the command properly. Generally, using the -c flag will choose the correct gpiochip. For example, 'gpioinfo -c 1' will output gpioinfo about gpiochip1.

Both of these instructions can control GPIO：

(1)gpioset GPIO0_87_Name=1

(2)gpioset -c /dev/gpiochip1 87=1

But, both of them will hang and i must use "ctrl + c" to kill gpioset process.

My question is: How should my application layer code control GPIO?

If i use: system("gpioset GPIO0_87_Name=1"); Will this process never automatically exit？

Can you provide some better methods to control GPIO at the application layer？

If you add the -z parameter, it will assigned a PID to the process.

The libgpiod library is not TI developed code so we do not provide example code. I recommend you look into the git repo: https://github.com/brgl/libgpiod
