How to use DM3730's CSI2A and CSI2C

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730, AM3703

Hellow:

There are two CSI2A and CSI2C receivers in the DM3730's ISP2. I want to connect two external sensors to  the two receivers and use simultaneously. The two external sensors have SIC-2 one data plane or two data plane. Now I don't know how to connect in hardware. You can give me a help.

By the way , Is MIPI CSI1 and MIPI CSI2 not same?

  • I am also interested in bringing two video streams into the DM3730.   I'm looking at Logic PD's DM3730/AM3703 SOM-LV Hardware specification and if you look at the CSI2 interface pins in the pin description list it says the following:

    Processor Signal Name CSI2_DY0/GPIO_113

Camera Serial Interface 2 data/clock input. Route as differential pair with CSI1_DX1. NOTE: The DM3730/AM3703 processor does not natively support the CSI2 interface. This signal can only be used as a GPI. Output signaling is not supported.

Does this mean that the DM3730 supports only a single parallel digital interface?  Why does the DM3730 discuss the CSI2 Phys if they're not available?
