Hi All,
Is it possible to enable hwecc and ubifs at the same time?
I can't make it work since the oob data of ecc is always incorrect at the first peb of the partition.
Is there any method to fix this issue?

Hi Rick,
Kindly can you post the boot log here to see what is the error coming?
Also you can refer to the below link on steps to create the ubi image:

Hi Amarinder,
We can use ubifs with hardware ecc now, the problem is caused by the function of sub-page read/write.
It works after disabling sub-page read/write function.
Although it works, the ubifs with sw ecc is 5 sec. faster than ubifs with hwecc. I'ts quite strange.
I think the i/o performance may be improved after we switch the ecc from sw to hw.
Regards,
Rick
Hi Rick,
You can make UBI working with hwecc by disabling sub-page. There are couple of issues with sub-page, as the NAND driver is not completely supporting the sub-page writes properly. If you are particular about using sub-page I can help you in solving the sub-page write issue. Do let me know, if you need help.
