Tool/software:

  • Can you comment on why the evaluation board schematic shows a 1.1V DC power rail for the ‘VDDS_DDR’ but the SYSCONFIG File has selected 1.2V?

On our PCBA when we integrate this processor, we can use 1.1V and our SYSCONFIG file would be set to 1.1V is that correct?

    VDDS_DDR can be 1.1v or 1.2V according to the AM62x datasheet. hence the option in the tool.

    However, in order to meet the VDDS_MEM_1P1 requirement in section 6.3, note 2 of the AM62SIP datasheet, VDDS_DDR should be set to 1.1v

    I will file a ticket to have the EVM file updated to the correct setting as well as removing the 1.2v option from the tool.
