OMX: Creating a custom OpenMax component

Hello,

Is it possible to easily create own OpenMax component that does some custom video / image analyzing (code existing) on C674x DSP and that can then be used via OpenMax API?

Can it be implemented so that it can use tunneling to the OpenMax video encoding component?

Is there some simple example of creating such a custom OpenMax component?

The VLPB component (ti/omx/comp/vlpb) shows how to create a component on the DSP. You could use that as a starting point for your own component on the DSP.
