AM625: compatibility between secure & non-secure devices

Hi Team,

So far customer has been using AM62x CPU`s e.g. AM6232ATCGGAALW without security support.

What if they want to switch to e.g. AM6232ATCGGAALW with security support.

What do they have to pay attentiion to to maintain compatibility?

e.g. when booting etc.

As noted in "10.1.2 Device Naming Convention" in AM62xx data sheet

AM6232ATCGGAALW is non-secure device
Customer would need to select "secure" device instead.

We have AM62x security resource download portal, whersecurity collaterals/links/tools... are hosted

that is not the addressing the question.

Customer has been using non-secure AM6232ATCGGAALW so far.

What if they want to swtich to secure AM6232ATCGHAALW.

Can they use the same exactly same code/SW as before or do they need to do changes? e.g. for boot process, but also everything else

There's common SRC for SoC (secure vs non-secure), but there're difference on SYSFW/TIFS, code signing etc... between secure vs non-secure, which make it impossible to boot non-secure binary on secure device for obvious security reason.
The customer will find more details once they have access to AM62x security resource download portal.
