AM62A7-Q1: Custom Board Boot Up Fails

Part Number: AM62A7-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM62A7

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

We have made a custom board of AM62A7 with reference EVM board schematic. Below are the steps we have followed for booting.

1) Power up the device and validated the PMIC Voltages

2) Tried connecting with UART  SOC/MCU but did not get Console output

3) Since we didn't get UART and we have followed the Debugging Tips from TI

https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1358039/faq-board-bring-up-tips-for-sitara-devices-am64x-am243x-am62x-am62ax-am62px

4)  Checked MCU_RESETSTAT and RESETSTAT signals both are high as recommended

5)  Checked  BOOTMODE signals are set correctly for the  boot Source

  * Tried with SD Card MMC1, not getting Clock Signal

  * Tried with eMMC, not getting clock signal

6) We have checked the Voltage levels of Power Sequence Rails and it is proper

Please guide us to solve the above issue.

Also would like to mention that device takes current from 100 to 150mA.

Thanks,

Jagadeesh
