TMS320C6678: H.264 ENCODER

Hi, I'm looking for a chip that can encode video data from video interfaces such as HDMI, DP.....

I think C6678 DSP can support H.264 encoding.

But it seems that there is no processor with C6678 supporting HDMI or DP Inputs.

I'm looking for a processor than can take Display Interface as input and output Ethernet. (HDMI/DP/HD-SDI.... -> Processor -> Ethernet)

Can TMS320C6678 support it? or can you recommend other suitable processor for me?

    Hi,

    TMS320C6678 does not support HDMI or DP.

    Since you are looking into a device that supports H264 encoding and has HDMI & DP with ethernet, we suggest you look into the AM68 or AM69, depending on your product needs. Please get in touch with your local TI support for details.
