AM5716: VDDA33V_USB1,2 UNUSED PORTS TIMING SEQUENCE, GROUNDING PINS?

Part Number: AM5716
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65916,

Tool/software:

Hello Ti Support,

We are using Am5716. Pins AA12 and Y12 (VDDA33V_USB1,2) ae unused and directly connected to 3.3V rail that is driven from GPIO 0 of PMIC TPS65916 to a load switch.

Our original design connected these pins to LDO4 with a specific timing sequence as shown below.

Since we are able to combine them and the port is UNUSED,

1. Is it best to leave connected the 3.3V rail, controlled by GPIO 0 of the PMIC?

or

2. Directly connect these pins to Ground?

Please advise if any power sequencing needs to be maintained. If they are connected to Ground, it is obvious there is no power sequencing.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

David
