AM6422: Remove qt5 from root filesystem from tisdk-default-image build

Hi TI Support Team,

For your information, I am using SDKv09.02.01.10.

I want to reduce the size of the root filesystem and remove unnecessary recipes. Specifically, I want to eliminate Qt5 from my custom root filesystem. To start, I have removed the entry for `meta-qt5` from the "tisdk/build/conf/bblayers.conf" file.

Please let me know if this is sufficient or if I need to make changes in other locations as well?

Kalyan,

removing the layer will only result in a bunch of build errors; that should be the last step after you removed all Qt related packages/package groups, etc. from being included.

How to remove Qt (or other packages, and understand dependencies)
Pointing out that generally the better approach is to add the packages you need to a much smaller image, rather than stripping down the TI demo/example images

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for the link. However, in the link, they recommend removing Qt5 by using the core-image-minimal build. But we require the ti-default-image as a base image.
