AM62L: Check CPU frequency

I've replicated the same issue. From looking at the K3Conf source code, AM62L's has not been added yet as a supported device.

I will file a bug on this issue.

Customer feels the AM62L EVM board performance is not good, wants to confirm the CPU frequency running.

How to know the CPU frequency is running on current SDK? or read some register value and calculate it? 

Anyway we can't wait next SDK release to do that.

Since AM62L SDK is still early release, not all the features have been supported yet. CPUFreq would be an option on other AM6x devices but its still in development for AM62L.

One option is to directly read the A53 PLL registers and calculate the clock speed. I'll need to check internally what registers to read.

Thank you for the reminder, I returning from sick leave.

Looking a little deeper, rather than checking the PLL registers directly, we can check the clock rate in the Linux debug framework.

Here is the linux userspace command:

root@am62lxx-evm:~# cat /sys/kernel/debug/clk/0_A53_0/clk_rate # Current Clock rate of A53 Core 0
root@am62lxx-evm:~# cat /sys/kernel/debug/clk/0_A53_1/clk_rate # Current Clock Rate of A53 Core 1

Just be aware this may not apply to other processors in our product family.

I got Dhrystone data same as user guide, The clock and DMIPS/MHz are obviously wrong. but seems DhrystoneP is right.

Anyway there should be something wrong.

Is there update? customer feel AM62L performance is much lower compare to dual core AM623x.
